AI training that fits the people in the room

Most AI training teaches everyone the same thing. People do not learn the same way, and they do not come to AI for the same reasons. AI literacy that works starts with where people are and who they are. Adapting to that is a big part of what literacy means.

What a typical workshop covers

It starts with a conversation.

Every workshop starts with a conversation, before any content is chosen. I want to understand your sector, your work and where your people are with AI right now. Then I build the sessions around what I hear. It is not the same content delivered everywhere.

How AI works

Every session covers this, because understanding how it works makes the rest make sense. We test tools live, so people see it happening instead of being told.

What it can do for you

Once you see how it works, you can see the opportunities. You also spot where it would not help you. Both matter. We start from your real tasks and pick the one or two worth testing first.

Prompts, and the context behind them

Good results come less from clever prompts and more from the context you give. I show people how to set that up so the tool works for them.

Every tool is different

Each has its own strengths, and the right one depends on what you value. I stay tool-neutral and teach the questions to ask of any tool.

Data and the quiet risks

We look at what happens to your data, and at the risks that give no warning. This is where many people stop and think.

Curiosity

People leave knowing what they can do, what they cannot, and where the risks are. They also leave asking what comes next. That seed of curiosity matters most to me.

Beyond the headlines

AI headlines swing between hype and fear. Literacy is something else. It is not a tick-box exercise, and it is not a technical or policy course. Those come later, if they are needed. For organisations, the EU AI Act’s Article 4 now asks for measures to support AI literacy, with no set level. That is a reason to do it properly.

For work, and for community

In a workplace, we focus on the work, and on where AI would make a real difference. In a community centre or charity, we also talk about values: how to protect them, and how AI can help push them further. AI is not something that simply happens to us. It is something we can lead.

Ways to work together

Three formats. Each is shaped around the people taking part.

Common questions

What is AI literacy?

AI literacy is understanding AI well enough to use it with confidence. It is not learning one tool or one task. Tools change every few months. Understanding lasts. If you know how AI works, what it can and cannot do, and where the risks sit, you can pick up any tool and judge it for yourself.

Is this a technical course?

No. It is for people who use AI, or will, and want to understand it.

Do you recommend a particular tool?

No. I teach how to choose between tools, based on what matters to you.

Who is it for?

SMEs, charities, community groups, and the people who run them.

Is the content the same for everyone?

No. I start with a conversation about your sector, your work and where your people are now. Then I build the sessions around that.

Is there free AI training?

Free courses exist, and they are fine for the basics. They cannot adapt to your people, your work or your values. That is what a tailored workshop adds.

Let’s build the confidence

Let’s build your team’s confidence together. From basic AI use to excitement, and then to driving AI ideas of their own. Whether you run a company, a charity or a community centre, get in touch and tell me where your people are now.
